Peat has conducted a series of conversations and interviews with scientists, artists and musicians . Some of these exist as audio and videotapes; others were made into documentaries for radio.

Physics and Beyond

Episode One

In the mid 1970's, Peat, together with Paul Buckley, conducted a series of interviews with the leading scientists of the twentieth century. These conversations were made into a 20 hour documentary series for CBC Radio. A number of these conversations have also been published as Glimpsing Reality. This is a summary of the first episode of that series featuring sound clips from interviews with Paul Dirac, Werner Heisenberg, Ilya Prigogine, Abus Salam and others.
