Conferences
On of the roles of the Center will be to organize and host conferences, including meetings of the Accademia dei Pari. In September 2000 it held a highly successful international meeting on The Future of the Academy sponsored by the World Academy of Art and Science, the Gulbenkian Foundation and with the patronage of the University of Siena.
18-20 March 2000 the Center with be host to a conference on
Chaos Theory and the Arts
in the Context of Social, Economic and Organisational Development
Over the next years the Centre hopes to hold conferences on a variety of themes including:
Art and Science
The Role and Importance of Community
Social Responsibility and Psychotherapy
The Centre also provides staff and infrastructure for groups of up to twenty to arrange their own conferences and meetings here in Pari.
